Trial Enrollment Period
2-Week Trial Enrollment Policy
At Nolan's Nest Daycare, our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for every child in our care. To ensure that our program is the right fit for both the child and our daycare environment, all new enrollments will begin with a two-week trial period.
Purpose of the Trial Period
The two-week trial period (10 business days) allows Nolan's Nest Daycare to evaluate whether the program is a good fit for the child and whether the child can successfully adjust to the routines, expectations, and group environment of our daycare.
This time also allows families to determine if Nolan's Nest Daycare meets their childcare needs.
Trial Period Guidelines
During the trial period, we will observe and evaluate the child’s:
-
Ability to adapt to the daycare routine and schedule
-
Comfort level being separated from parents/guardians
-
Behavior with caregivers and other children
-
Ability to participate in group activities
-
Safety awareness and ability to follow basic instructions
Parent Cooperation
Parents/guardians agree to work with Nolan's Nest staff during the trial period if concerns arise. This may include discussing behavior strategies, routines, or other adjustments that could help the child succeed in the program.
Determination of Continued Enrollment
At the end of the two-week trial period, Nolan's Nest Daycare will determine if the placement is a good fit for the child and the group.
Possible outcomes include:
-
Full Enrollment Approved: The child will continue attending Nolan's Nest Daycare as a regular enrollee.
-
Trial Period Extension (if necessary): In some cases, the trial period may be extended to allow additional time for adjustment.
-
Enrollment Discontinued: If it is determined that the program is not the best fit for the child or if the child is unable to safely or successfully participate in the daycare environment, Nolan's Nest Daycare reserves the right to discontinue care at the end of the trial period.
Payment During Trial Period
All regular tuition and fees apply during the two-week trial period. Tuition is non-refundable, as the child’s space is reserved and staffed accordingly.
Immediate Termination
Nolan's Nest Daycare reserves the right to end the trial period immediately if a child’s behavior poses a safety risk to themselves, other children, or staff.
Policy Agreement
By enrolling your child at Nolan's Nest Daycare, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Two-Week Trial Enrollment Policy.
